Trip to Singapore (Part 1)

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all my followers... phewww... previously, my post is on what I am pursuing now which is Master of Corporate Communication. Ever since, I feel so happy with my life. I feel I have been rejuvenated and reborn to be stronger than before.

Ok. Enough with that, this time, I wanna share with all of you on my latest trip to Singapore. For your information, this is my first time I'm going to Singapore. Kinda excited and worried at the same time, worried of getting lost actually... hahaha.

The trip starts on July 27th where I take bus there with my friend. The price of ticket from TBS to Little India, Singapore is around RM44.40. Very affordable. We depart at 8.30 a.m. We arrived at Tuas Checkpoint around 3.00 p.m. After several rounds of detail immigration process, we finished around 6.00 p.m. and arrived in Little India at 7.00 p.m. We expect to arrive there around 2.00 p.m. Certainly, our plan need to be reschedule.

Once we arrive, we immediately run to nearest MRT station, which is Ferrer Park. This is because we want to use Singapore Tourist Pass. This pass can be used in all MRTs and Buses around Singapore. This pass comes together with $10 deposit which you can redeem back after using it. Since I am at Singapore, I pick 2 days unlimited pass for $16, together with $10 deposit. This pass is unlimited to all MRT and bus stations, except monorail to Sentosa Island.

Once we got Singapore Tourist Pass, we directly went to Chinatown as I wanna buy souvenirs to my family and friends. As far as I know, from reading most of blogs, if you want to buy souvenirs with affordable price, you should go to Chinatown. Thus, it intrigues me to go there. There, I bought Coin Purse, 7 for $10, T-Shirt, 5 for $10 and fridge magnet, 5 for $5. Very cheap. I like it... The name of the shop is The Gift Shop. Very recommended.

Ok. Done with souvenirs, it's time to go to Gardens By The Bay. We went there by MRT as well. You guys need to disembark at Bayfront Station. We went there at night as the scenery is very breathtaking. The architecture also very nice to be seen.

After that, it's time for supper. We went to Zam Zam Restaurant. In order to get there, you need to take MRT to Bugis Station and walking few meters to North Bridge Road. We ate Deer Murtabak for $10, Fried Kuey Teow for $4.50, Iced Tea for $2 and Iced Lemon Tea for $2. FYI, this is my first time eating deer. It tastes delicious and looks appealing as well. Fried Kuey Teow is just mehhh..

After eating at Zam Zam, it's time to get some rest for the next day. Adventure for the next day will be continue in my next post. Stay tuned !! So long !!
